AnnaSophia has been awarded a CAMIE award for her work in Bridge to Terabithia. The CAMIE awards will be May 3rd in Beverly Hills. AnnaSophia is having a ball filming Race to Witch Mountain with costars, Dwayne Johnson, Alexander Ludwig, and Carla Gugino. This film is high action adventure. Andy Fickman, the director (She's the Man, The Game Plan) is awesome and keeps everyone laughing.

Sleepwalking will be in selected theaters throughout the US, March 14th. Starring Charlize Theron, Nick Stahl, AnnaSophia, Dennis Hopper and Woody Harrelson. It is the story about family dysfunction, abandonment and second chances. Rated R.

AnnaSophia has been nominated by the Young Artist Awards as "Leading Young Actress" for her performance in Bridge to Terabithia. The cast has also been nominated for "Best Family Feature Film (Fantasy or Musical)

AnnaSophia and Josh Hutcherson were in Tokyo over Thanksgiving promoting the release of Bridge to Terabithia in Japan.

Have Dreams, Will Travel (Use to be titled A West Texas Children's Story) was premiered at the Rome Film Festival in October. AnnaSophia and Cayden Boyd were there doing interviews and enjoying pasta! Julia Winter (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) came to celebrate the events with her. Thanks Julia!

AnnaSophia designed a running shoe for The Blue Planet Run. The Blue Planet Run started June 2nd in NYC and continues on until long distant runners have spanned the globe, bringing awareness of the need for clean drinking water for people around the world. Dow Chemical is sponsoring the event and asked celebrities from TV, film, sports etc. to design running shoes for the 18 long distant runners. Check out the website www.blueplanetrun.org Dow Chemical made each shoe design into a 3' x 5' sculpture and placed them around the streets in NYC. Check out the photo of AnnaSophia's design. The sculptures are being auctioned off on EBay. Dow loved AnnaSophia's design so much, they are keeping for their corporate headquarters. See photo in the photography section

AnnaSophia will be featured in October's issue of Teen Vogue magazine along with 17 other up and coming actors. She just finished the 2 day photo shoot in Los Angeles. It was great fun and she made some fantastic new friends from around the globe.

Annasophia and her classmates at school raised $1500 to build a drinking water well in Eastern Chad for the refugees in Darfur. We are hoping to get images of the building process. Her class realized that if everyone in her class (40 kids) could ask (4) people to donate $10 each, they would have enough to build the well. How easy! And it worked. AnnaSophia has been attached to do Walden Media's The White Giraffe. It is a story about a girl who loses her parents in a fire and is sent to live with her grandmother in South Africa, who lives on a wild game reserve. AnnaSophia's character, Martine, discovers she has a special friend and abilities to communicate. Gabor Csupo is set to direct. Start dates to be determined.
